   Friends of Historic Preservation Freetown

The Friends of Historic Preservation was started by the Freetown Historical Commission and many citizens of Freetown that expressed their support for historical preservation initiatives. Our mission is to preserve, protect and restore historic structures and sites in Freetown, Massachusetts.
Restoration Projects

The Freetown Historical Commission plans to apply to the Massachusetts Preservation Projects Fund, a state funded 50% reimbursable matching grant program offered through the Massachusetts Historical Commission. To be eligible for this grant we must guarantee 50% of the amount requested.
Village School The Village School is a pre-development project in the range of $5,000 to $30,000.
